We take great pride in keeping an up-to-date list of all available kittens and cats in our care. If they are listed below, they are available. If they are noted "Pending Adoption" that means they are currently on a trial adoption and 'may' be back at the shelter should the trial not work out. Often times the cats we have in our care come in as strays, therefore we do not have as much information on them as we'd prefer, but we do our best at listing every possible detail we do have on them.

ID#23-037 Dozer

This dreamy boy is Dozer. We believe that Dozer was once an indoor cat that had unfortunately been dumped fairly recently outside of town. He landed in an area with other outside cats that didn't like him and he was continually picked on, then trapped an brought to us (thankfully). This boy will often shy away and hide if there is a lot of activity going on, but he is a true ray of sunshine! If you are gentle with him, calm and talk sweetly to him, he will flourish right in front of your eyes. Dozer did get briefly adopted by the existing resident cat did not care for sharing the spotlight, so Dozer is once again looking for a warm lap to curl up on. He is great with other quiet and calm kitties and will even snuggle with them, but he is a true people cat and seems to shine bright when he is around women. We would like for him to go to a home that is quieter so a teen+ environment would be best for Dozer.

This stunning, solid, loveable guy is Basil. He is a ball of love who deserves a human with a warm heart to love him and a warm lap to sit on. He is just such a sweet soul. He was brought into our shelter with another kitty (Sage) and we figure they were dumped at the persons house who brought them in. This boy has such an amazing disposition and can be quite chatty. Basil can be cat selective so a docile male or female cat would be ok. We estimate Basil's date of birth to be October 2019, he is short hair, black, neutered male, microchipped and up-to-date on his vaccines.

Ever been so misunderstood? Yep, me too! I have the name Lucifer-Morningstar, not because I am deviant as the TV actor's character, but more along the lines of his rugged good looks!!! I am a short hair, black, neutered male who was born roughly June 2020. I was found as a stray and am learning to accept love and affection but can still be a bit shy. When I warm up to you though, I will be wherever you are and loving you up. I like my people and not too fond of sharing, though I tolerate most of the kitty crew here, I would much rather a home where I am the centre of attention. I do get a little nervous sometimes and when I am, I will lick myself bare in a couple spots, it may just be the environment in here though.

The name's Jordan and some volunteers here call me Jazz. I am a short hair, grey tabby, spayed female who is just over a year old. I like to stay up high where I can observe everything going on in the busy shelter, but when it gets real quiet, I like to come down and mingle with the other cats and seek out attention from any of the volunteers that are here. I would be best suited in a calmer home where I can love on one or two older humans that will let me show they how amazing I am.

The name is Puma. She is a beautiful, black short hair, spayed female who was born October 2019. I can be very cautious at first with people, especially if they come at me quickly, I will run away, however, with the volunteers I am more use to, I will let them pet me and I absolutely love it! I will often purr, especially when they get just the right spot. I am great with other kitties as I can sometimes be found snuggled with them.

ID#23-052 Goodnight

Meet Goodnight. He is a gorgeous orange and white, short haired tabby, who is now neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We estimate Goodnight's date of birth to be October 2020. Goodnight was found as a stray and by the looks at some of the scars he has, he was outside for a wee while. He is a good boy who goes a little stir crazy in confined spaces but is transitioning while comfortably settling into one of the rooms in the shelter. Goodnight would likely be better suited being the only pet, though he seems to be ok with her current kitty roomates.

ID#23-042 Lavender

Introducing Lavender. If you are looking for an exceptionally sweet and affectionate kitty, Lavender is it! She loves to be pet and will snuggle right into your lap. This petite little girl came into our care as a pregnant stray, however her body decided she shouldn't carry the babies to term. Lavender has since been spayed, has received her vaccinations, is microchipped and ready for a new loving home. A quick little note, Lavender sustained a small bite wound at the base of her tail which has been treated and healed, and her fur is slowly growing back in the area, otherwise, this wee girl is a picture of excellence. Lavender is a short hair, steel grey female who we estimate was born October 2021.

Hi I'm Aspen. I was found living as a colony cat, surviving in the elements with no human contact. Volunteers have been working with me to establish trust and I don't mind them but still have a ways to go. I do LOVE kittens though, I love when they snuggle up with me and if they need a surrogate mama, I am happy to love them up and groom them.

ID#21-123 Figaro

Meet Figaro a beautiful girl, but very, very shy. Our volunteers were at one time able to pet her, we are again working diligently on socializing this gorgeous girl. Though she coexists with all the volunteers moving here and there, she tenses up and runs if she figures someone will try and pet her or if you move too fast. Figaro absolutely loves other kitties and can often be seen giving them baths or in a cuddle puddly with them.
With patience and time, she would eventually come around and enjoy or at least tolerate being pet. She would definitely need a home with another friendly cat that she could bond with, or be adopted with one of her feline friends here at the shelter.
Figaro and a couple other kitties were surrendered together by their owner. Figaro was pregnant when surrendered and her babies all died shortly after birth.

Miss Kiwi is lacking confidence and would love for a zen-like environment and compassionate companion to teach her how to be strong and confident and most of all, learn what love is all about. You will often see Kiwi in a cuddle puddle with a few of her best female buddies in here so a like-minded kitty in the home would be an asset for Kiwi. Nice to meet you, I'm Beckie. For so long I would jump up the walls at the shelter to avoid being pet, now with the new containment rooms I no longer flea from the room and as the volunteers are super patient and kind to me, they have been working to socialize me and I am beginning to really appreciate being pet. I MUST be in a home with another cat and if you are looking for a purrfect match, I have a couple buddies here at the shelter that I absolutely love to snuggle and love on. If you have another kitty at home, as long as they are not a dominate cat, we will likely get along well. I have not been tested with dogs so no idea how I'd be and as I am shy and timid, a quiet home without small children would be best for me. Lexi is a very shy girl. She needs a quiet home to decompress and gain your trust. She is good with the volunteers going in and out of her room but is more reserved when you approach her for pets (which she doesn't like to receive at this point but we have been working with her). Lexi gets along well with the other cats but tends to cuddle on her own. She likely would not be a good fit with a dominate cat or with a dog. She is an observer and loves cat trees to perch on. Lexi is a short hair, spayed female, tortoise who was born 9/2018.

The name is Tink I am a short hair, female, grey tabby. They estimate my date of birth to be around April 2020. I was brought in with a few other kitties that I shared a home with so I like other felines, but our owner could no longer care for us. I need a patient person who can spend time to socialize and love me. I don't run from the volunteers but I like that they respect that I like to just 'be', sit in my cat tree, with a snuggly blanket and just 'be'. That's all I ask, someone that would like my company but not expect me to do cartwheels and run around playing or even get all snuggly. I'm the kind of lady who will likely sit on the other end of the couch from you while you watch t.v. or read a book.

I am still getting use to being pet, most times I will run away. Well here I am, I have finally made it to the online world!!! My name is Big Foot and a am quite the character. While I love getting pets from the hoomans, I VERY much like the great outdoors and any chance I can get to be outside. The shelter has a strict policy about outdoor kitties but for me, they are looking for someone who may have a fantastic securely enclosed sun porch, catio or fully enclosed backyard that I can frolic in and still be 100% safe. I am not the kind of cat that would be suited to an apartment or small condo, I must have space. I am kind of a lone wolf and don't really care for the other kitties in here, but love from humans is absolutely fantastic. I am a polydactyl (extra toes in the front, hence my name), I have short black silky fur, neutered male and am 9 years old.

ID#21-433 Roxi

Meet Roxi. She has a mind of her own. She likes to be pet but only on her own terms and can change her mind in a split second. Roxi is an independent senior cat, that would likely curl up on the couch near you but is not a lap cat by any means. She is definitely not a cat that you can go up to and pet whenever you want, she has to come to you (but even then, she can change her mind quick.) You have to let her smell your hand first (the sniff test), so she can decide if she wants to be pet or not. If she does, she will usually tilt her head down to say you can pet her, if she doesn't, she will just pull away or tilt her head up to look at you. She can change her mind in a split second though, so you have to be alert when you do pet her to avoid being swatted at. She only really likes her head pet/scratched, if you try to pet down her back she will likely attack you. If you don't pet her "right" aka exactly how she wants, she will likely pull away and swat you. She doesn't bite but she swats (almost always with claws out). She won't just randomly come up to you and attack you out of nowhere, usually it is in response to if you try to pet her.
She HAS to be in a home with NO other animals and no kids. Seeing another cat is one thing that triggers her to attack if you are petting her. Her attitude might change for the better when she is in a home with no other pets but its not guaranteed.
She loves treats and wet food, and if you shake a bag of treats she will just appear out of nowhere even if she was in a dead sleep 2 seconds before. She has been spoiled a little bit with human foods (that are safe for cats of course) and she loves plain potato chips. If you have food, especially if it was in a noisy package, she will likely come investigate and sit at your feet meowing for a piece. I've never seen her attack if she wasn't given any reason though, and she will eventually just walk away if you don't share.
A weird thing we've noticed with Roxi is that she will drink out of the toilet, even if she has a fresh bowl of water available. So a toilet seat with a lid that gets put down all the time is recommended.

I'm a TWIN (not bonded), that's right, Riva and I are nearly identical. We were both born at the shelter to a feral mom. I have adapted to shelter life but would really love to feel the love and quiet of an actual forever home. I will require a little patience as I have never been in a home. I am a tux domestic short hair spayed female who was born September 2013.
Other cats at the shelter have been my family, I require another cat friend to snuggle with and twin tails with (a few of my besties passed away last year 2022). I am good with being in close proximity to the people, but if they try to come at me all handsy wanting to pet me I usually bolt. If I was given the opportunity to be in a quiet home, with someone willing to slowly teach me the acceptance of a loving hand, I would likely be a fabulous companion.

Hi I'm Brooke, a short hair tabby with a white chest and black markings, spayed female who was born March 2016. I was brought to the shelter as a stray along with my kittens. I was terrified when I was brought to the shelter. A volunteer was working with me to socialize me and I began to come around and trust. Then I changed rooms to a much bigger area and reverted back to be terrified and started swatting the volunteers. I love treats but that isn't the way to my heart, I desperately want to trust but it is very difficult for me. I am going to need someone who understands my hesitation and will work with me for me to become the best kitty, the volunteers say I am definitely worth the effort. A quiet, adult only home would be best for me and I would likely even warm up to another cat if they are calm (I have a few buddies in here that I like). So if you are someone that is willing to put in the time with me, give me a quiet, safe space and lots of time and love, I promise you will be amazed at the cat I can be.

ID#48 Lalu

Lalu has become the matriarch of the kitty family here at the shelter. Lalu came to the shelter back in 2012 at which time she had displayed a very unfriendly demeanor. As we do not give up on any cat, we allowed Lalu to be content with her own space where she has gradually grown to appreciate gentle pets and love from the volunteers. She was adopted with one of her buddies but after a short while returned as her buddy wasn't doing well in the home. Lalu loves the other cats so much that you can often find her snuggled up or twining tails with her kitty buddies. May 2022 Lalu suffered a stroke which caused some balance issues and a head tilt. These days she is good with her balance but the head tilt still remains, it is like her signature look and does not impede her daily life. She is extremely passive and will allow some of the other cats to bud in and eat her food. She cannot be an only pet, if you are interested in adopting this beautiful and loving lady, we would highly recommend that she go to a home with one of her pals such as Riva or Rogue.

ID#22-393 Binky

We would like you to meet Binky. She is stunning and will run up to you for affection and purr, but, with some people, she simply does not like to be pet. More of an look but don't touch, affection that she loves. She does let some of us volunteers pet her, she will twirl around our legs, sit in our laps, bully others out of the way so she can be the main source of attention, but when she is done being pet and loved on, she may swat, which is ok as she is declawed, however... she will sometimes bite if you don't watch he tell signs and stop petting in time. She really is a gorgeous being, really does not like other animals and her catitude may even be just from being in the shelter with all the other cats. Binky was surrendered to our shelter as she did not play well with the other cats in the home.

Riva here, I have been here since I was a kitten with my TWIN sibling Rogue (we are not bonded). Our mom was a feral cat so we began our personalities based on hers. I do often enjoy sitting with the volunteers in the front office, so being around people is a definite plus for me, just please, no touchy-touchy. With some one-on-one socialization in a quiet home, I am bound to thrive and show you just how special I truly am. I am good with other cats but not kittens as they are just too rambunctious for me and I don't jive with that.

If you are looking for a new pal that will snuggle up next to you, purr loudly, melt the hearts of everyone he meets and just absolutely love you forever... CHATSWORTH is your guy!!!!!!
This big, beautiful buff boy came in as a stray, and when I tell you that he has charmed everyone he has met, I truly mean it. He loves to be where the people are but also content just relaxing on his own. He is super chill, extremely lovable and will chat with you when you talk to him (hence his name). Chatsworth is an absolute dream! 'Chats' loves to eat when his peeps are nearby, I mean, who really likes to eat alone anyway?! He isn't bothered by the other office kitties, but he'd rather they stay out of his face. Ideally we'd love to see him as an only cat (just so he gets all the BIG love he deserves) but he will likely be cool with a docile cat like himself. We have no idea how he is with dogs and kids ok as long as they are respectful of cats.
