We take great pride in keeping an up-to-date list of all available kittens and cats in our care. If they are listed below, they are available. If they are noted "Pending Adoption" that means they are currently on a trial adoption and 'may' be back at the shelter should the trial not work out. Often times the cats we have in our care come in as strays, therefore we do not have as much information on them as we'd prefer, but we do our best at listing every possible detail we do have on them.

Hi, I'm Mama Mia and I am just the sweetest! I started out at the shelter as a stray who came in with her babies, but I was very scared of people and not very friendly to the volunteers. But with lots of patience and the nice, loving volunteers helping me come out of my shell, oh have I ever blossomed! I may take a little bit to warm up and trust the person who adopts me but I will definitely be your best buddy with just a little bit of patience! I now love to be pet and will come right up to the volunteers for love and pets! Sometimes, I may even let you rub my belly! I can also be a bit chatty, especially when I want your attention and around feeding time, so don't be surprised to hear my little kitten-like meows! Almond – I am a quiet girl who came to my foster home 8 weeks ago, about to have some babies! I was initially timid, but it didn’t take me long to warm up to my foster family. I love to be pet – butt scratches and cheek rubs are my faves – but am not much of a fan of being held. One of my favourite things to do is look out the big window in my room, I really like watching squirrels and birds! I like the other cats in my foster home, they are all pretty quiet. There’s a dog upstairs who can be very noisy, which scares me, so I would like to live in a quiet, calm home. I get along with all of my foster humans, including the older (teen +) kids.

Hi, I'm Annie. When I first came into the shelter, I was shy and timid with the volunteers. Now, I am curious as to everything that is going on and will approach for pets. I am still kittenish and would love to have a human that will play with me. I adore other kitties and use to snuggle with my litter mates before they were adopted so I would likely due best with another calm kitty in the home. Sadly I am another case where my owner just left me behind in an apartment, but with some of my kitty friends.

We haven't tested him with small children so that is an unknown as well, but we know he is most definitely a people lover as he seeks out attention from all the volunteers.

Hey there, I'm Walnut. My confidence isn't very high right now and with all the hustle and bustle at the shelter, I can be a bit nervous when it comes to new people. It takes me a little while to trust people, but I'm not mean at all! Sometimes I will flinch or duck if you try to pet me, but usually I will let you pet me anyway. If you give me lots of patience and help me gain some confidence, I bet I'll begin to flourish and become the cat I was meant to be! I'd love a patient person with a quiet home. I'm great with other kitties but not sure about dogs, I might be okay with a calm, quiet dog! No young kiddos please. This stunning young floof is Espresso. If you are looking for a curious and loving kitties she is the one for you. Espresso came into the shelter as a stray with her siblings and kittens (not her kittens). She prefers a home of her own or with another cat that isn't interested in snuggling with her or getting up in her face. She is very sweet natured but not super cuddly. Espresso is a short hair, dark calico with absolutely stunning colouring. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed and ready for her new home. We estimate Espresso was born July 2022.

Sweet natured, calm, quiet and loves to soak up the sun in the window, meet Marlena. This petite girl will make a fantastic companion and will snuggle up next to you while you watch TV or read a book. Though she doesn't readily seek out attention, she very much loves when you come to her and shower her in love. While she doesn't mind the other cats, you won't find her snuggled up with any of them, Marlena is more of an independent 'old soul'. Marlena is a short hair, white and grey, female who was born August 2021.

ID#21-433 Roxi
Meet Roxi. She has a mind of her own. She likes to be pet but only on her own terms and can change her mind in a split second. Roxi is an independent senior cat, that would likely curl up on the couch near you but is not a lap cat by any means. She is definitely not a cat that you can go up to and pet whenever you want, she has to come to you (but even then, she can change her mind quick.) You have to let her smell your hand first (the sniff test), so she can decide if she wants to be pet or not. If she does, she will usually tilt her head down to say you can pet her, if she doesn't, she will just pull away or tilt her head up to look at you. She can change her mind in a split second though, so you have to be alert when you do pet her to avoid being swatted at. She only really likes her head pet/scratched, if you try to pet down her back she will likely attack you. If you don't pet her "right" aka exactly how she wants, she will likely pull away and swat you. She doesn't bite but she swats (almost always with claws out). She won't just randomly come up to you and attack you out of nowhere, usually it is in response to if you try to pet her.
She HAS to be in a home with NO other animals and no kids. Seeing another cat is one thing that triggers her to attack if you are petting her. Her attitude might change for the better when she is in a home with no other pets but its not guaranteed.
She loves treats and wet food, and if you shake a bag of treats she will just appear out of nowhere even if she was in a dead sleep 2 seconds before. She has been spoiled a little bit with human foods (that are safe for cats of course) and she loves plain potato chips. If you have food, especially if it was in a noisy package, she will likely come investigate and sit at your feet meowing for a piece. I've never seen her attack if she wasn't given any reason though, and she will eventually just walk away if you don't share.
A weird thing we've noticed with Roxi is that she will drink out of the toilet, even if she has a fresh bowl of water available. So a toilet seat with a lid that gets put down all the time is recommended.

This beautiful all black spayed female is Aspen. Aspen does well with docile kitties but is more of the leader of the pack and nurturing. She would be an excellent fit in a quiet home where she can lounge in the sun, gaze out the windows and curl up on the sofa on her own. Are you looking for a calm, senior girl to cuddle you all day and night? I'm your girl! I'm Tinsel, and I am just SO sweet I'll make your teeth ache! I don't have a mean bone in my body and just ooze love to anyone I can show it to! I am approximately 9 years old and when I came to the shelter I was very skinny and drank a LOT of water. As it turns out; I have Diabetes, but it sounds much worse than it actually is! I require daily insulin shots in the morning and evening but I am VERY good with taking them. Usually my foster mama does them while I'm eating my breakfast/dinner and I don't even notice! I also require special "Dietetic" food (that you can buy from your vet!) and should be given more wet food than kibble. Even with my Diabetes, I can still live a long and great life, and there is even a possibility for me to go into remission and not need the insulin shots anymore! If you are retired or have a schedule that would work with my insulin schedule (every 12 hours) and you want a super sweet, cuddle-buddy, please give me a chance!

Gone are the days where this boy will run from humans, now, he embraces all the love and attention he can possibly get. If you are giving another kitty some love, sweet Oakheart will saunter over and nudge himself right into your hand. He enjoys rubbing up against your leg to gain your attention and he is all about the love!!! Sometimes this gorgeous older gentleman will stick out his tongue, but rest assured, he has the all clear from the vet! We would love to see Oakheart enjoying his life being doted on. Lalu has become the matriarch of the kitty family here at the shelter. Lalu came to the shelter back in 2012 at which time she had displayed a very unfriendly demeanor. As we do not give up on any cat, we allowed Lalu to be content with her own space where she has gradually grown to appreciate gentle pets and love from the volunteers. She was adopted with one of her buddies but after a short while returned as her buddy wasn't doing well in the home. Lalu loves the other cats so much that you can often find her snuggled up or twining tails with her kitty buddies. May 2022 Lalu suffered a stroke which caused some balance issues and a head tilt. These days she is good with her balance but the head tilt still remains, it is like her signature look and does not impede her daily life. She is extremely passive and will allow some of the other cats to bud in and eat her food. She cannot be an only pet, if you are interested in adopting this beautiful and loving lady, we would highly recommend that she go to a home with one of her pals such as Riva or Rogue.

With time, love and patience, most of them have come out of their shell, much like Jaguar. This boy is so affectionate. He will study you, wait for you to sit on the floor, then will come rub up on you, head butt you and purr like there will be no tomorrow. He is a definite lover and you will often find him nuzzled and grooming other kittens.
